Our on-going projects have not permitted us to completely develop this page.  We will add more projects and more detailed descriptions as time permits.  However, we offer services in the following general areas:

• Decisions & Organizational Control - including the design of control, incentive, and performance measurement systems; the design of cost and information systems, and the determination and estimation of relevant costs.
  • The linkage of strategies, organizational structure, and control, including optimal performance measurement.  We often ask: do you want information or effort?  In the near future, we’ll post a long essay on this choice.
  • The development of cost reporting systems that support the organization’s goals and strategies.  This is much more interesting and important than many managers think.  Don’t leave it to the accountants!
  • The determination of cost behavior and the identification of relevant costs for all types of organizational decisions.  We’ve notice that many project that start elsewhere end here.

• Valuation, Risk Analysis & Modeling particularly market and credit risk issues, including counter-party credit risk; the design of risk measures and hedging strategies; the development of pricing and risk models; and development of routine or ad hoc , static or dynamic, and portfolio or enterprise-wide scenario analyses and stress tests.

• Integrated Organizational Hedging - by utilizing our expertise in the above fields we offer this new advisory service to industrial firms.  Our focus goes beyond risk management or risk mitigation to ask: how can one profit from the risky environment that they and their customers face?
