Bradford Woods Elementary School
The Brad-Mar-Pine home field is located between Wexford Run Road and Perry Highway (SR 19) north of SR910 and south of Bradford Road.
Directions: from I79, take the Wexford exit and head east on SR910 (Wexford-Bayne Road) for approximately one mile. Turn left (north) onto Wexford Run Road and travel approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Glenmore Road and immediately turn right onto Forest Road. The field will be on the right.
From SR19 (Perry Highway): if traveling south, turn right onto Bradford Road (at the Atria’s Restaurant). If traveling north, turn left onto Bradford Road. Stay on Bradford for approximately one mile and turn left onto Forest Road. The field will be on the right near the end of the road.
Vincentian Athletic Complex
The McCandless AA home field is located northeast of the McKnight Road & Peebles Road intersection–in the valley behind Vincentian High School.
Directions: if traveling south on McKnight Road (truck 19): turn left at Peebles Road, and stay in left lane as you go to the top of the hill. (It’s a very short hill.) Make a left at the first traffic light into the Vincentian Complex. Take the first right (at the athletic fields sign) and go down the hill.
If traveling north on McKnight Road, from, say, the Ross Park Mall, slightly past the McIntyre Square exit, take the ramp to turn right at Peebles Road, and immediately merge into the left lane (as you go to the top of the hill). (It’s a very short hill.) Make a left turn at the first traffic light into the Vincentian Complex. Take the first right (at the athletic fields sign) and go down the hill.
Burchfield Elementary (Middle Road)
Burchfield is between Route 8 and Middle Road, south of Elfinwild.
Directions: The MRAA recommends going south on Route 8, and turning left on Burchfield Road (there is a traffic light at this intersection). Burchfield winds across a small bridge and then turns left up a long hill. Burchfield Elementary will be on your right near the top of the hill. Fields are in the back of school.
From Wexford, it appears that taking either Middle Road to Burchfield or Harts Run Road to Middle Road to Burchfield, is easier. Elfinwild is a goat path, and I doubt if Burchfield is much better. (For those of you who are familiar with St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Burchfield is just south of the school.)
McCully Fields
The Hampton teams play some of their home games at McCully Fields in Hampton Community Park.
Directions:From Wexford, go east on Wildwood Road across Route 8. About one-tenth mile past Route 8, turn right to the Hampton School/Park complex. Continue past the schools to the Hampton Township Park and look for Field 2 or 3.
Wexford Elementary School (Braisley Fields)
Wexford Elementary School is located east of Route 19 (Perry Highway) about one-quarter mile south of the Route 910/Route 19 interchange.
Directions: if traveling south on SR 19: turn left at Brown Road (at the CVS). When the road ends (at a “T”) turn left, then turn left into the school’s parking lot, and turn right to get to the fields.
If traveling north on SR 19, turn right at Brown Road and follow the directions above.
Upper Miner Field, Bethel Park
Upper Miner Field is located between South Park Road and Library Road in Bethel Park.
Directions:Take route 88S to South Park Road, turn left onto Main Street, and the field is located on right hand side after 3rd stop sign.
Otherwise, use your GPS.
Whitey Soergel Field, Knob Hill Park, Warrandale, PA
The field is located on Knob Hill Road, off of Brush Creek Road, which can be reached from either Warrandale Road or Perry Highway (US 19) at the entrance of the industrial park.
Central Elementary, Hampton, PA
The field is located on Middle Road, very close to Hartwood Acres.
