That’s What We’re Talkin’ About!
Yesterday, what began as a short post on “black liquor” and the unintended consequences of micromanagement (and implementation of stupid laws and regulations) by the federal government metastasized into a long post explaining – among other things – why the U.S.A. is not like Europe and why there is hope that Obama’s policies will eventually be reversed and discarded and the continental shift toward nanny-statism will cease. (Very similar to the way the previous sentence doesn’t seem to want to end.)
Anyway, for those interested in a perfect examples of the types of Americans that we had in mind, we encourage you to read Karl Rove’s powerful essay about the Krissoff family in today’s edition of The Wall Street Journal: A Family’s Valor, a Nation’s Freedom. His last sentence is perfect: “So long as our nation produces families like the Krissoffs, America will remain not only the greatest nation on earth, but also the most noble in history.” Amen.
